The Elementary School (Grades 2 to 6) is dedicated to providing early introduction to the ICSE curriculum to students. The teaching methodologies adopted at RiverDale have been structured to foster a love for learning. They focus on helping students assume ownership and responsibility of their own learning. The approach to education at RiverDale is thus participative and enquiry-based and promotes healthy interaction between the teachers and their students.

With academics being the priority, a wide range of course books is made available to develop the students’ aptitude in various subjects. After class tutorials help in strengthening the students base concepts and enhance their grasping abilities. Along with academics, the students of the Elementary School are encouraged to participate in physical and sports activities, engage in music and arts classes, and make liberal use of the library.

The students enjoy a plethora of programmes and activities aimed to make the students aware of different cultures, religious practices and to imbibe tolerance for one and all.
