The members of RiverDale staff are periodically involved in programs of training and development. These include in-house sessions facilitated by existing staff and visiting faculty, as well as external sessions conducted by expert agencies.
These training sessions serve to help the school's faculty to constantly refine their teaching skills, classroom management techniques, ability to work harmoniously in teams, and motivating students to achieve increasingly higher levels of performance.
These staff training interventions also focus on attitudinal issues which help clarify vital concepts such as desirable teacher-student relations, attitude of service in the work of teachers, aims and objective of education, etc.
At an altogether different level, teachers routinely participate in subject-specific training sessions organized on behalf of the CISCE at its various regional and national centers helping them to constantly improve their teaching skills.
