ADMISSION PROCEDURE

An application for registration is the first stage of the admission procedure. The Admission Form will be made available with the Prospectus on your visit to the school. Parents are advised to go through the form and fill up the details legibly.

A registration fee of Rs. 30,000 must be deposited with the school along with the Application Form so that the students’ name gets registered for the year and class for which admission is sought. Applications bearing incomplete or false information will be rejected.

The Registration fee is neither adjustable nor refundable and is valid only for the specified academic year.

No admission test is conducted by the school for admission up to grade 3. Admissions are confirmed strictly on first-come-first-serve basis and upon payment of Registration and Admission fees.

Every student registered for admission to grades 4 to 9 will be expected to appear for a Benchmarking Test at the school.

Admission to grades 10 and 12 can happen only if the student is already studying in a school that follows the ICSE/ISC curriculum through transfer facilitated by the two schools and the Council.

Admission to grade 11 is based on the student’s 9th and 10th Board Examination mark-sheets.

The school offers applicants for admission to grades 9 and above choice of a number of subject combinations in the Science and Commerce streams. Admissions are decided purely on the basis of the Benchmarking Test, students’ academic background, and vacant seats available.

The School fully reserves the right of admission and its decision on such matters will be final and binding and cannot be questioned.

The School reserves the right to change its admissions procedure from time to time without notice.

For a student to obtain admission to RIS, the school management must be satisfied that the student has a history of academic performance and appropriate personal conduct.
