All classrooms are equipped with the interactive smart-class system ensuring that students have access to a wide variety of learning tools and audio-visual aids. The maximum number of students accommodated in a classroom rarely exceeds 25, allowing teachers to give personalized attention to each of them. Each student is assigned an individual desk as well as a separate locker, providing adequate space and comfort, apart from storage space needed for taking care of their belongings in the classroom. Students are routinely engaged in activities for decorating their classrooms and displaying their projects, charts, flyers and other creative work produced by them.

RiverDale boasts of excellent sports facilities, which include separate playgroundsfor different sporting disciplines. A well manicured full-size cricket ground along with a mini-stadium and separate covered/uncovered net-practice areas, two football fields, two swimming pools, one each for boys and girls, two standard tennis courts, two basketball courts, a volleyball court, a well-equipped modern gymnasium, and a multi-purpose enclosed hard-court with flood lights are among the sporting facilities that the school places at the disposal of its students. Provision for indoor sports such as table-tennis, badminton and snooker/pool have been made in the multi-purpose hall and dormitories.
The school has a well-stocked and spacious library which remains open during class hours and beyond. The school’s inventory of books and educational magazines are constantly updated to keep abreast with the needs of the modern student and to provide them with more than adequate knowledge to quench their curiosity. The design and layout of the library assures a comfortable setting, while its central location ensures convenience of use. Students are encouraged to make liberal use of the library and read books often. A full time trained librarian ensures discipline is maintained and noise levels are kept in check.
The school’s Tuck Shop is a popular location with the students! The Tuck Shop provides students with the opportunity of indulging in some of their favourite treats during weekends. Students deal only with coupons as cash is not allowed for any student transaction on campus. Students routinely suggest items of their choice which the Tuck Shop tries to supply from time to time. Popular items such as Burgers from McDonalds and Pizzas from Pizza Hut also regularly find its way into the tuck shop. A limited weekly allowance in the form of coupons given to the students teaches them how to spend prudently on their favourite snacks.
RiverDale has well equipped and separate laboratories for IT, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These state of the art laboratories are maintained according to the highest standards required for supporting children as they engage in self-discovery and experimentation related to their classroom based academic work. The school’s laboratories are equipped with a wide range of instruments that not only fulfill the learning needs of students as per the requirements of the board, but provide them an additional opportunity to go beyond their syllabus for a more practical exposure.
